The Red Cross

The Mission ( or purpose) of the Australian Red Cross is as follows: "To be a leading humanitarian organisation in Australia, improving the lives of vulnerable people through services delivered and promotion of humanitarian laws and values."
OxFam
The name 'Oxfam' comes from the Oxford Committee for Famine Relief, started in Britain in 1942. OxfamInternational was formed in 1995. Their aim was to work together to reduce poverty and injustice around the world.
